The City of Crete is taking applications for the position of Recreation Coordinator in the Parks and Recreation Department. Full-time, hourly position, with benefits. Minimum qualifications include: possess a valid driver’s license; must be at least 21 years of age; be legally authorized to work in the U.S. General functions: Develop, organize, implement, and coordinate all aspects of the City’s recreation programs. Create plans and proposals to improve the number and quality of programs offered by the Parks & Recreation Department. Assist with general park and pool activities and maintenance. Some evening and weekend hours are required of this position. Supervisory responsibilities: Seasonal Recreation Coaches/Referees, Pool Managers, Lifeguards.
