Crete Public Library's schedule of events for February and March.

Crete Public Library's schedule of events through December includes children's activities and story times, teen nights, adult events, and book clubs. Watch for more details on these and additional events as announced. Contact the library with any questions or to RSVP/register where noted.

*Events will take place at Crete Public Library unless otherwise noted.

Children's Programming - Beginning in September

• Toddler Story Time for ages 0-2 - Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
• Preschool Story Time for ages 3-5 - Thursdays at 10 a.m.
• Exploration Studio for ages 5-11 - first Tuesdays at 4 p.m.
• Art Lab for ages 5-11 - third Tuesdays at 4 p.m.

Teen Nights - Thursdays

• Valentine's Day Card Making - Feb. 8, 5:30 p.m.
•  Library After Dark - Feb. 29, 7:00 - 11:00 p.m. Teens age 12-17; Advance Permission Slip Required Limited Spots Available
  • Games, movies, snacks, pizza, and after-hours fun! Teens will not be allowed to attend the program unless the permission slip has been read and signed by themselves and THEIR parent/legal caregiver. Teens MUST have their completed permission slip turned in by Tuesday, Feb. 27. Late permission slips will not be accepted.

• Trivia Night - March 21, 5:30 p.m.

Adult Events

• Craft Night - Ceramic Tile Coaster - Wednesday, Feb. 7, 6:30 p.m.
  • RSVP by Jan. 31
• Puzzle Race Party (Crete Carrier Community Room) - Tuesday, March 12, 6 p.m.
  • register by Feb. 29 - registration includes team members, pizza selection, and fee
  • to register: visit the library or contact staff by phone or email (below); fee paid at the library or online only after registering

Book Clubs

• Code Yellow - first Thursdays, 12 p.m.
• Kaleidoscope - third Thursdays, 12 p.m.
• Flights of Fantasy, Thursday, March 14, 5:30 p.m.
