Santa Claus to read letters at the library on Dec. 22

Children can drop off letters at the library by Dec. 18.

Santa Claus reads children's Christmas letters at Crete Public Library.

Update, Dec. 22: Video of Santa Claus reading letters at Crete Public Library is now available on the library's Facebook Page, @CreteLibraryNE.

Santa Claus will visit Crete Public Library on Tuesday, Dec. 22 to read letters sent to him from children in the Crete community.

Local children of all ages are invited to write a letter to Santa, which he will read aloud at a special event posted on the library's Facebook Page, @CreteLibraryNE.

Only the child’s first name and last initial will be read and letters will be read starting with the youngest writers first. Letters should include some contact details and the child’s age. Those who send a letter to Santa will receive a book.

Drop letters in the library's book drop at 15th and Forest Ave. or email to: librarystaff@crete.ne.gov by Dec. 18.
