Crete Volunteer Fire Department's Annual BBQ is on Saturday at Tuxedo Park, starting at 5 p.m., with a band playing at 9 p.m. after the rodeo.
Saturday, July 17, 10 a.m. - The Saline County Fair Parade starts in downtown Crete at 10th Street and Main Avenue, north on Main to 12th Street., left on 12th to Quince Avenue, right on Quince, cross Highway 33/103 to West 13t Street to Tuxedo Road and into the park and fairgrounds. Parade float check-in is at Blue River Family Center, 9th and Kingwood, 9 a.m.
