Railroad crossing repairs on N-33, west edge of Crete

Weather permitting, railroad crossing repair work will begin April 21 on Nebraska Highway 33 (N-33) in Crete, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) forces will be performing the railroad crossing repairs at reference post 10.0. The work is anticipated to take two (2) days. A marked detour will be in place for motorists to follow while the roadway is closed for work.

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
